John Warren Travis has designed costumes and, in some instances, scenery for more than 150 productions on the West Coast including: Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Berkeley, CA; California Shakespeare Festival, Berkeley, CA; American Conservatory Theater, San Francisco, CA; Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Ashland, OR; Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts, Santa Maria, CA; Mark Taper Forum, Los Angeles, CA; and the San Francisco Ballet, San Francisco, CA. Since his retirement, John Warren Travis maintained a studio at 1890 Bryant Street and exhibited regularly in California for over a decade.
